The Pedrera invites us to learn, share and reflect on the possibility of a real tourism, which developed through the joint work of authorities, civil society and entrepreneurs, who bet on employment generation through tourism but above all to a much-needed makeover for the people and the area comprising the municipalities nearby, and we must learn to see San Matias Tlalancaleca with different eyes, to be surprised by the historical and architectural wonders that we have, in the nature that surrounds us and comprising the trout and estates, to wake up to the full range of cuisine and admirethe artwork of our craftsmen.

The Invitation
The Pedrera invites us to learn, share and reflect on the possibility of a real tourism, which developed through the joint work of authorities, civil society and entrepreneurs, who bet on employment generation through tourism but above all to a much-needed makeover for the people and the area comprising the municipalities nearby, and we must learn to see San Matias Tlalancaleca with different eyes, to be surprised by the historical and architectural wonders that we have, in the nature that surrounds us and comprising the trout and estates, to wake up to the full range of cuisine and admirethe artwork of our craftsmen.

Greetings, I uploaded pictures of the interior of the Museum
Greetings, I uploaded pictures of the interior of the Museum, despite being a small museum, actually has quite some history Prehispanic. Interesting thing is that it has two circular monoliths, which are neither more nor less than two solar calendars (Xiupohuali and Tonalpohualli), the first is agricola of 18 months and the second is the divinatory and names were allocated on the basis of this, it should be noted that the days in the Aztec calendar is 265 days approx time lasting human gestation. as time? physically there are these calendars in the Museum, something which is admired, as in the bibliography there is no image documented about the Xiupohualli, the tonalpohualli more popular is the Aztec calendar and in the Museum there is one more simple, but ultimately to the same function. This museum is located in the community of san matias tlalancaleca and they are pieces of the local Museum, which finally not s ele gave the necessary difucion to make it more interesting.
